Brevard Public Schools has extended Phase 1 until further notice. We will NOT be starting Open Gym on July 27th. Please continue to sign up for a slot and whenever we are given the green light- the same rules and procedures will apply and I will use that sign-up genius.
Tryouts are tentative for Aug 24th pending FHSAA and BPS approval.

Tryouts are officially moved back 1 week to start on August 3rd. Times will be TBD due to Return-to-Play protocol. Phase 2 will begin on July 27th which means we can have OPEN GYM Monday, July 27th-Thursday, July 30th. Please sign up for open gym on Sign-Up Genius
Please read and adhere to the strict guidelines on which time slot while signing up. Players are encouraged to sign up Monday- Thursday.
Rules for Open Gym:
All participants must sign up on Sign-Up Genius. NO WALK-UPS ALLOWED and no switching slots
No parents are allowed in gym or lobby
Players must have all paperwork completed before participating. You may bring with you on first day
Players will wear a mask upon entry of gym lobby while waiting for temperature checks. Players can take mask off after entering gym to practice
Players will wash hands immediately upon entering the gym
Players will adhere to social distancing guidelines in gym lobby, while leaving gym and whenever possible
Players will bring own water and towel, no sharing
Players will stay on the courts assigned to them by coaches. Players will stay in their group of 10 from start to finish, no exceptions.

Due to the nature of Phase 1 which includes no equipment (including volleyball sharing) between 2 players- we will not be having open gym at Viera High School.
Players- please continue to work on your physical fitness and take this time to make sure your athletic packets are complete.
Viera Volleyball will resume on July 27th for tryouts @ VHS Gym.
You must have your COMPLETED athletic packet for tryouts. You may email to athletic director: Davis.Margaret@brevardschools.org.
Players will tryout during their incoming grade level and coaches will determine team placement.
July 27th-28th 9th & 10th graders: 5:00pm-6:30pm
11th & 12th graders: 7:00pm-9:00pm
July 29th 9th & 10th graders: 5:00-6:30pm (final cuts)
Varsity Practice 7:00-9:00pm
